Why not buy a Pre-Built Computer elsewhere?

Pre-built computers from varying retailers across the internet all have the same recurring issues. For example: Poor Wire Management, Cheaper off branded parts, price gouging, poor build quality, and proprietary parts. These issues may not pose a issue upon arrival but overtime will show in performance and longevity as-well as reducing upgradeability in the future.

How long does it take to build and receive a computer?

Once we receive your order we will immediately order all parts necessary to build you computer. Once they arrive we will assemble the computer same day and test to confirm there are no issues and configure to make the most power. Then ship the following business day. 

What does a "GOOD PC" cost?

The price of a "GOOD PC" is mostly defined by what you use it for. If you are wanting 4k VR Gaming PC you can expect to spend upwards of 2-3 thousand dollars for a computer due to the rising costs of graphics cards. If you are a photo editor you can get away with having a much cheaper graphics card option while still having a super fast computer thus leaning more towards the $1500 range. Ultimately you choose the price with your budget and we will build you the absolute best computer we can with the money provided to squeeze out as much performance as possible.

Do you offer refurbished/used parts?

Yes. We offer parts that have been used in personal computers, previous builds, as-well as open box items when available. Do note that all used parts come with only their existing manufacturer warranty from the original date of purchase.

Why choose OPTechDepot?

We are here to help people make the best decisions when shopping for a new computer. So many times I've come across people who have already bought a computer and are unsatisfied because it either doesn't meet the performance they need for what they are doing and/or they typically overpay for the underperforming computer.

Do you have a physical location?

Short answer is No. We currently do this from our personal home so there is no physical store front. However we do make house calls in the local DFW area.

Are the computers covered by Warranty?

Yes. Every computer part that is not refurbished/used. Comes with their manufacturer warranty.
